Execution as a heritage.

Gruyère Space Program

Emerging from the success of the Gruyère Space Program, our team developed Europe’s first reusable rocket prototype, flown over 50 times in 2024. Building on this achievement, we are now developing the in-space mobility vehicles that will allow tomorrow’s industrial space economy to thrive.

Fifty flights of a reusable prototype, flown by the same team, on a student budget. The programme is where our appetite for flying hardware early and often was formed.

Founded in 2024, PAVE Space has moved from incorporating to propulsion firing, space-ready avionics, and dedicated engine test infrastructure in just over a year, demonstrating a rare ability to turn ambition into real hardware at speed.

Chavalon test site

Most space companies’ test sites are far from home and the design offices. Ours is only 20 minutes away, on a unique brownfield site repurposed to host our main engine test stand, right here in Switzerland. That distance, or lack of it, is the whole point: it gives us the agility to iterate fast on our hardware, and we're lucky enough to do it with the Alps as a backdrop.

Villeneuve headquarters

At our 3000 m² headquarters in Villeneuve, everything happens under one roof. Our design offices sit next to a full workshop, where we machine our own subparts in-house and test some vehicle subsystems including turbomachinery. Right next door, a cleanroom will allow our first full vehicle assembly and integration by late 2026. So design, build and test all sit within the same walls, right here in Switzerland.
