Your role
Every invoice for the hardware that goes into LYOBA comes to you before it gets paid.
PAVE Space is building LYOBA, a heavy kick stage moving up to 4-ton payloads from LEO to high-energy orbits in under 24 hours.
So, why now?
The team is growing quickly, we're moving accounting in-house from our fiduciary and we're preparing for audit, all at the same time. You'll keep the books clean as the volume grows, so the month-end close takes days instead of weeks.
You will own
The general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable from start to finish. That means coding and entering vendor invoices, preparing payment runs, sending customer invoices and following up on anything overdue.
Monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit cards and balance sheet accounts, plus employee expenses: checking them against policy, entering them and getting them paid.
Tracking fixed assets and depreciation, and following up on and reconciling stock.
Month-end and year-end closing: journal entries and accruals, and support with financial statements and management reports.
Preparing VAT and withholding tax filings, reconciling payroll, and collecting documents and answering requests for internal and external audits.
Finding discrepancies and turning today's manual steps into automated workflows.
What we are looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
A solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS)
Good knowledge of fixed asset and stock management
Hands-on experience with Odoo accounting
Excel skills you use every day: XLOOKUP, pivot tables and the formulas a reconciliation actually needs
Fluent English
Nice to have: French, and experience at a hardware or industrial company with inventory.
You will fit if
A reconciliation that's off by a few francs bothers you until you find out why.
You still meet your deadlines when the close, VAT and audit requests all arrive in the same week.
You'd rather fix a manual step once than repeat it every month.
You handle payroll and other confidential numbers discreetly, and you ask when you're not sure.
You can work through a stack of invoices on your own, then explain a figure clearly to an engineer who needs it.
This is fully on-site in Villeneuve (VD).
